DOLFAB TV LIFTS were conceived in collaboration with a number of end users who, for a variety of reasons, were dissatisfied with the units on the market at that time.  The main shortcomings included heavy weight due to steel construction, noisy operation, drive failures and in the case of fold-down units, the large gap left in the ceiling/overhead when the TV was deployed.

Through extensive use of 3D CAD systems and experience in the marine and aircraft fields, Dolfab engineers addressed all of these design areas and came up with the innovative Fold Down Lift incorporating doors that could be finished to match the surrounding surfaces.  This design received an enthusiastic response and led to requests for vertical lifts with similar attributes and quality; thus the Dolfab Vertical Lift was produced and is now available in a number of models.

At DOLFAB, we design and manufacture state of the art units with internal microprocessor controls so that all sequencing is built into the equipment.  The only variations are in the control of the start of the sequence.  The structure is cleverly designed to be cut and folded thus minimizing welding operations which lead to loss of strength.  Most parts receive powder coat finishing for appearance and longevity
