Fold-down systems are available for a large range of TV sizes from 13 inch screens up to 65 inch and can accommodate speakers at the bottom of the screen, at the side of the screen or mounted independently outside the fold-down housing.

The huge difference between Dolfab Lifts and other brands of fold-down lifts is the provision of doors to close off the space occupied by the TV in the closed position.  The doors are operated by independent linear actuators which are sequenced under microprocessor control with all components hidden inside the frame of the unit which is a mere 5 inches deep.  The doors can be fitted with panels and finished to match the surrounding ceiling/overhead; furthermore, as an option, the doors can be sealed  to provide a weatherproof unit for installation on patios, aft deck areas and near hot tubs.

Frames and hinge systems are manufactured from marine grades of aluminum and stainless steel.  The opening/closing function is performed using ultra quiet electric linear actuators working in conjunction with linear gas springs to balance the TV load.  The electric actuators are self-locking when not in operation.
